I got an email from my friend and it goes like this…
Two moon on 27 August
*27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for………….* Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will cultivate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am . It will look like the earth has 2 moons. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.
Just in case you are interested in it, it’s TOMORROW NEXT MONTH!

The weather’s getting crazy, I don’t even know how to describe it. I think even the meteorologists doesn’t have a word for the phenomenon.
Yesterday i t was chilly and windy. Note: It wasn’t raining but it was cold! So when I boarded 74 from SP, my jacket was already on hands, ready to be put on. But as the bus zoomed past Bukit Timah Road, the clouds suddenly seem to clear and even the sun starts to shine!
So I took off my jacket.
But over at Ang Mo Kio, it seemed a different story weather altogether. Dark, gloomy and wet. I feel like I am traveling through different parts of the world when the fact is I’m just in this lonely bus, going along the lonely stretch of roads.
God’s will. Subhanallah.

i always get these type of emails one, and always when i stare into the sky NOTHING one. eh probably this one is hoax also ah.!

Magic school bus? Faints. I hate service 74. I have to walk to school (took any bus to bus stop just before 74 left-turns) average twice a week because 74 takes donkey hours to arrive and if I had to wait, I’ll be really late. Good thing I am not a lazy bum but it’s no fun walking alone. dammit.
EH! You did so? I actually thought of doing it leh! Is it really faster than waiting for the freaking bus to turn left? ’cause yes, it’s damn frustrating to wait for so long just for one stupid turn, really.

I waited (for two hours) at east coast a few years ago late at night. I think it was Mars. The expected time had past and when we stayed a while longer, my dad and I saw a small wishing star. It was like omg. Still, did not see Mars.
how does a wishing star looks like? sekali you have been wishing to a Singtel’s satellite ah!
No lah. I walked because 74 did not come. Not because it takes a long time to make the left-turn. I took 154 or 151 or 52 from SIM where I alighted for a transfer from Bukit Panjang. And alighted at bus stop before the left-turn. And walk lah. Because there was no sign of 74.

74=magic sch bus? well.. fi3, u’re really positive..haha…for mi, i’d have called it “horror sch bus”…haha….
I have a suggestion!!! Go to STOMP
and write a post there about 74. the thing about STOMP is that after a complain is ‘lodged’ there, the authorities will take actions. Ironically, when you contact them directly (in this case SBS), they will take eons and eons to come back to you.
HAH! Talk about saving face and PR!
Anyway pohying, I say 74 is my magic school bus is ’cause that day it brings me through 2 different weathers. Other than that, it sucks. Speed, waiting time, crowd, you name it…
I have had enough of 74. Spare me. By the way, how does a wishing star looks like ah? A shooting star lor. But it was a fast one, lasted like 3 seconds. I am certain it’s not a Singtel ’s satellite (:
